Through our Guardian Angel Program, we remain dedicated to protecting those who protect us. We are proud to continue donating FREE HG2 Concealable Level IIIA Multi-Threat Vests to individuals who are courageous and serve selflessly. HG2 Panels provide top-tier ballistic protection, designed to protect against common handgun and shotgun rounds, as well as strikes and slashes. These HG2 vests give our recipients the peace of mind they deserve in their critical roles.

CHASE AVERITT | State Game Warden
I will be able to serve others as a state Game Warden with more peace of mind while wearing Safe Life Defense armor. Every day I work, serve, and help others, not just in the county that I am assigned, but also across the state. I will continue to serve and protect the community I live in with or without Safe Life Defense armor, however having armor which is suited to the needs of my job would help tremendously. Having the proper equipment for my job will allow me to always stay focused on the tasks at hand.
As a Game Warden, my job has many unique interactions with the public. During hunting seasons, many hunters carry high-powered rifles while I am on patrol. The soft armor my department issues is not rated to stop the majority of the calibers I come across in the field. My unique position in Law Enforcement means I come across these situations frequently, while the majority of other people will likely never encounter this in their lifetime. I believe I would be a good recipient for armor that is suited for my line of work, and I can be confident knowing the armor I wear is rated for the calibers the people I am making contact with are carrying.
Owning body armor for me is a way of life. Having armor appropriate for my job provides defense from those who potentially want to cause me harm. This can provide more confidence knowing that when I leave the house, I have on the best gear to make sure I come home at the end of the day.

Wearing Safe Life Defense Body Armor allows me to serve at the highest level in one of the most demanding professions—Executive Protection. As someone responsible for the safety of high-risk clients in business, government, and entertainment, my performance must be flawless under pressure. The confidence that comes with wearing Safe Life Defense armor enables me to remain focused, agile, and composed in unpredictable situations. Knowing that I have reliable, top-tier protection allows me to move toward danger if necessary, not away from it. Whether I’m escorting a CEO through a volatile protest or shielding an entertainer from a sudden threat, Safe Life armor gives me the trust in my gear to help others stay safe while I do my job.
I should be selected because I serve on the front lines of personal protection, often in environments where threats are both real and imminent. As a Black man in this industry, I’ve worked twice as hard to earn the respect and responsibility I now hold. I protect individuals whose lives and roles shape economies, policies, and culture. Every time I step into the public eye with a client, I accept the fact that I may be the first and only line of defense between them and harm. My safety, and their safety, depends on the quality of my equipment.
Unfortunately, I currently cannot afford to purchase the Hyperline series on my own. The vest I’ve been issued by my company—a used, outdated model from a different brand—simply doesn’t meet the standards I need to do my job with confidence. Being selected would not just help me—it would directly impact the safety of the clients I protect and the peace of mind of the family I go home to every night. To me, owning body armor is not just about protection—it’s about purpose. It means I’m prepared to meet any threat with the highest level of readiness. Every time I put on that vest, I’m not just preparing for a job—I’m making a promise: to my clients, that I’ll do everything in my power to keep them safe; and to my children, that I’ll come home.
As a father, a protector, and a professional, body armor is my lifeline. It’s what gives me the strength and certainty to stand between danger and the people I’m sworn to defend. I can’t protect my clients if I can’t protect myself—and I can’t protect myself with substandard gear. That’s why Safe Life Defense armor isn’t just equipment to me—it’s essential. It means I’m ready. It means I can do what I was trained to do and do it right.

As a police officer with over five years of experience and a Marine Corps veteran, I understand firsthand the critical importance of properly fitted, reliable body armor in the line of duty. I regularly advise fellow officers on gear selection and have recommended equipment based on performance in real-world situations.
