Proudly made in our Nevada facility with Dyneema®, Honeywell®, Brookwood® and SAATI® materials, this armor is now thinner, lighter, and stronger than ever. SLD-HG2 is NIJ Certified to the 0101.06 IIIA standard to provide reliable protection against IIIA threats (all the most common handguns and shotguns) while being extremely comfortable to wear and budget friendly.
DESCRIPTION
Safe Life Defense armor reliably defends against: all common handgun rounds including .357, 9mm, 45acp, all the way up to .44 magnum. Level IIIA protection even protects the wearer from shotgun rounds including 00 buckshot, 12 ga slugs and even submachine gun rounds. In conjunction with our level 4 rifle plate our armor protects against rifle threats all the way up to .30-06 steel core armor piercing rounds!
