Safe Life Defense is located in Henderson, NV and we manufacture the majority of all our gear in house. All ballistic inserts are constructed and tested at our Henderson facility. Some fabric carriers and accessories are sewn internationally for cost-savings we pass on to our customers.

Our duty belt sizing will match your normal belt sizing, and our belts are adjustable. Safe Life Defense belts include a sizing guide on each product page to help you choose your best size, and we offer free size exchanges as needed.

Safe Life Defense guarantees the proper fit of your belt. If you feel your belt does not fit properly, we will be happy to provide a courtesy exchange. Exchanges must be within 30 days of delivery and in original condition.

Safe Life Defense stands behind our products and your personal satisfaction. If you do not love your belt, we will be happy to accept the return of your belt provided it is in original condition and within 30 days of delivery.

Yes, there is a lifetime warranty on belts and we will either offer to repair or replace your belt as needed.

Our duty belts use a two-belt system: First, thread an under-belt (inner belt) through your pants belt loops. Then attach the outer duty belt using Velcro. Position the buckle at your center, with your holster on your dominant side. The under-belt distributes weight to your hips while the outer belt holds your gear.

Standard duty belt setup places your firearm holster on your dominant hip, with handcuffs and baton behind it. Your taser or OC spray goes on your non-dominant side for cross-draw. Position your radio holder, magazine pouches, and flashlight where they're accessible without crossing your body. Many officers place a tourniquet at the front for quick access during emergencies.

Belt keepers are small straps that snap around both your inner and outer belt to secure them together. They prevent the duty belt from separating from your under-belt during physical activity like running, fighting, or climbing. Most officers use 4-6 keepers spaced evenly around the belt. Our belts do not need belt keepers due to our 2 belt system.

Position your tourniquet where you can grab it with either hand—typically at the front of your belt around 11 or 1 o'clock. Some officers prefer mounting it on their vest or plate carrier. The critical factor is quick, ambidextrous access since you may need to apply it to yourself with your non-dominant hand. Practice using it regularly.

For nylon and faux leather belts: Remove all gear, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, air dry completely.
