Wearing body armor enables me to help others by providing a greater sense of safety and security in potentially dangerous situations. It allows me to remain resilient and focused while mitigating threats, ensuring that I can effectively intervene and protect clients, colleagues, and bystanders. With this added layer of protection, I can act decisively and confidently, ensuring that those I serve can trust in my ability to safeguard their well-being.

I should be selected as a recipient of the body armor because it will enhance my ability to protect myself and the individuals I serve. With extensive training and experience in high-risk environments, I am dedicated to ensuring safety and security. This armor will empower me to respond more effectively to threats, demonstrating my commitment to excellence in my role and fostering trust with those who rely on my protection.

Owning body armor means prioritizing safety and readiness in my role as an armed security guard and executive protection agent. It symbolizes my commitment to protecting myself and those I serve, ensuring I can respond effectively to threats while maintaining a professional presence. In a field where every moment counts, body armor is not just gear; it’s a vital tool for confidence and resilience.

As a dedicated security professional and current college student, my primary responsibility in my occupation is to ensure the safety of all life and property no matter what venue or client I work for. Access to reliable good quality body armor is crucial for effectively managing high risk situations that I am constantly in. Not only would it protect my own life, but It also enhances my ability to respond confidently and safe guarding all of those I serve. Properly equipped security personnel allows me to not only deter but also prevent criminal activity before happening. By using my presence to prevent, deter and limit dangerous activity I will be able to create a safe environment for myself and all around me while working.

I am seeking assistance in acquiring Safe Life Body Armor, not only because it is the best armor on the market but because through out my career I have demonstrated a selfless commitment to public safety and service. I began doing security at 15 years old as my first job with a workers permit, I am now 23 turning 24 on November 21st. For nine years I have been working with my grandfather in the private (Dynasty Protective Services) security field and its been very difficult going above and beyond to ensure the well being of those I protect and serve on an everyday basis. For example there was an incident where I worked at PayPal Park, an arena in San Jose, CA. And there was a large rival soccer game that took place between the San Jose Earthquakes and Mexico Cruz Azul, and during my shift working security I was placed in one of the most dangerous situations imaginable. After the game ended each sporting team had a group of super fans for each team. My responsibility was to escort the winning teams support group to the buses for safe loading exiting the arena. To my dismay, an armed individual supporting the opposing team presented himself and aimed a firearm directly towards the bus while I was standing in between and shot off a single round. Luckily no one was hurt myself included and I was able to deter the suspect myself and assisted local law enforcement to locate the individual. It was a this moment that I needed to seek assistance to be able to perform my commitment to public safety and creating a safe place for my community by protecting myself. I aspire to become a police officer in the near future, but assisting my grandfather and financially supporting my family while going to school has been my main focus. This incident was covered by the news and has been provided via link. This is one of countless dangerous incidents I’ve encountered while working in San Jose as private security.

Being granted body armor would be a significant step in my role as a security professional. It would mean everything to me on a personal level as well as professional. Acquiring body armor is unobtainable for me due to the high price point but body armor is vital and would be providing me an essential layer of protection, allowing me to perform my duties with increased confidence, and peace of mind. The privilege of wearing body armor means I can engage more effectively in high risk situations, knowing that I have taken proactive measures to safeguard my life while serving and protecting others. Being able to own body armor would also symbolize my commitment to my profession and the community I serve. Not only would it enhance my confidence but it would also enable me to deter all potential threats no matter how severe and respond swiftly in emergencies until local authorities arrive. The gear represents not just personal safety but a dedicated commitment to the safety of all around me. Ultimately being given the opportunity to have Safe Life Defense armor, it would empower me to fulfill my responsibilities more effectively and ensure that I can protect lives and contribute my part in creating a safe environment for all.

A fun fact about myself is that I was named Gabriel, after Archangel Gabriel in the Bible. He is the protector and guardian angel of the people of Israel. I come from a Christian household and was given this name and ironically fits my character very well. I also played football since I was 9 years old, and I played Offensive Line which essentially protected all ballcarriers on the field. I excelled at this position and played this position my whole football career. Protecting others has been the core of my life and something I take very seriously. I closely identify myself with the capability of protecting others, and it brings me great joy and satisfaction. Given the opportunity to protect others on another level is very exciting to me. We live in Houston and have a lot of natural disasters and crime that follows. I do a lot of emergency repair and recovery during these events. Often go to troubled low income areas to help with generators, water and supplies. After our last hurricane and power being out for over a week in the greater Houston area, I had guns pulled on me several times. Often people trying to keep looters out. But I still don’t want to be hospitalized or dead from mistaken identity.

I wouldn’t use the word “should” myself. Those I help have said I should get some kind of body armor. Yet I’m just doing the best I can to help others, I’m not forced into this situation. As far as donated, I’m primary caretaker for my daughter (still work part time as a handyman) it just would help me not strain the little bit I make to have the added protection. A “should” statement. I should have body armor in a lot of areas I go to out here, having it donated, I would promote your product every given chance I get and you would have an unofficial brand ambassador by default.

Having body armor would give my wife and I more confidence in me returning home when I do go help out the rough areas, and also being protected from armed looters when doing some of the assessments and volunteering during disaster cleanup. I think it’s great that you offer such a program, it makes me even more interested in your products.
