Try Out Law Enforcement Funding
The Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) is a program that was created by the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant Act of 1998. It is a unique U.S. Department of Justice initiative designed to provide critical resources, like body armor to state and local law enforcement. The one catch when it comes to ballistic vest funding through the Office of Justice Programs is that the applying department must have a mandatory wear policy to receive a grant. The Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) is a supplemental option for when your grant doesn’t cover the full cost of the equipment you need. Funds acquired from the JAG can be used to pay the remaining amount on the gear not covered by the BVP grant. This stipend can also be used to get ballistic-resistant and stab-resistant body armor. Similar to the BVP, a written mandatory wear policy must be in effect for all uniformed officers before receiving the grant.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
We get it! Nothing will give you a bad taste in your mouth like the inability to return, exchange or get a refund on an order that just doesn’t work for you. For a life-saving investment like body armor and other safety gear, you need to be satisfied with your purchase.
Returns: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receipt to receive a full refund minus shipping. All you need to do is email returns@safelifedefense.com with your name and order number to receive your return shipping label. We ask that you please allow 14 days for return/refund processing once your return is received.
Exchanges: For exchanges, please email fit@safelifedefense.com your name and order number in order to receive a FREE shipping label.
